Visiting a church for the first time can be pretty daunting, so we’ll do everything we can to make it simple for you.
What can I expect in a church service? A typical church gathering is built around the idea that God is present with His people and is interested in speaking to us. So, hearing from God’s word – the Bible, singing to and about God, praying for one another and for the world and sharing stories are pretty standard. Have a look at our Sunday Services to get a better idea of which service might be best for you.
What do I do if I’m bringing children? That’s great! We love children and want them to have a great experience as well. Of course, you’re welcome to keep your children with you, but typically they spend the first 15 minutes in the service before we pray for them and send them out to Kids Learning Time. This is a safe, fun, well-run program for Pre-School & Primary School aged children that happens at the 10:30am Service during the school term.
How should I dress? Feel free to wear whatever you would normally to an informal family gathering, café or a movie. Like getting dressed up? That’s cool. Don’t like dressing up? That’s fine too – just wear something.
Let us know you’re visiting: If you’d like someone on our ministry team to meet with you 15 minutes before the service, answer any questions, show you where things are and if you’re bringing children – help you sign your children in to Kids Learning Time, please fill out this form to let us know when you’re coming.
