Every person is part of the Team here at All Saints – called to love God and one another. We do however have a team of people who are called to equip and empower others to serve and are responsible for various parts of the ministry here at All Saints.

Pastoral Team

Dave Fuller – Senior Minister
Dave has been the Senior Minister at All Saints since July 2012 and oversees the Staff Team here. He is married to Deborah and they have two teenagers. With a diverse ministry background since 1987 ranging from pastoring at St.Martin’s Community Church Collingwood, para-church ministry with Concern Australia, in School’s Chaplaincy and lecturing at Ridley Melbourne, Dave is now an active life member of the God’s Squad Christian Motorcycle Club. He enjoys time with his family, walking the dog, reading and is a long suffering Richmond Footy Club member. In December, 2015 he was made Archdeacon of the Yarra region of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.

Joy Sandefur – Associate Minister
Joy assists Dave in the Pastoral Care of women and of the elderly. She is the mother of two adult children and 4 grandchildren. Joy spent several years in the Northern Territory as part of the Kriol Bible translation team, working at Nungalinya College. She also worked for the Anglican Diocese of the Northern Territory supporting and training Indigenous clergy, leaders and churches. Joy, now a retired Anglican Clergy-person, enjoys reading, spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.

Akhil Gardner – 6PM Pastor
Akhil has been at All Saints in various roles since February 2013 and oversees youth & young-adult ministries and the 6PM Congregation. Akhil has a background as a professionally trained pianist & composer, has worked in para-church and church ministries, and has recently completed his studies at Ridley Melbourne. Alongside a passion to see people know and love God more fully, he likes lifting heavy things and putting them back down again at the local gym. He is also an avid collector and reader of good books, a lover of Classical Music – especially that of the 19th Century Romantic period. Since being ordained as a Deacon in February 2017, the youth at All Saints have taken a shining to calling him “Rev”, much to his disapproval.

Janie Beasley – Children & Families Pastor
Janie has been the Children & Families Pastor at All Saints since February 2015. She is married to David and they have 3 children.  Some  of her interests are playing tennis, reading, walking, singing and listening to jazz. For many years she has been involved with playgroup and Mainly Music and has a passion for families and children to know about God’s love for us. Janie is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Divinity at Ridley College and works on  part-time basis in Community Policing. Prior to being a police officer she worked as a radiation therapist in Melbourne and Ipswich in England.

Administrative Team

Maggi Palmer – Church Administrator.
Maggi began in this role in March 2017. Originally from the UK, she has previously lived in various parts of South East Asia, with the whole family becoming Australian citizens in 2006. Married to Bill who is still living & working in Singapore, they have 2 adult children and an elderly, blind dog. Maggi has worked in various fields including admin, retail, education as a teacher’s assistant and health as a nursing assistant. She was recently studying to be a nurse but God had other plans! She has been an active member of All Saints since first attending in 2002, enjoys singing in the church choir and is part of the Mainly Music team on Thursday mornings. She also enjoys reading – when time permits, baking (and eating said baking), singing with a community choir and is never happier than when filing or putting things in order.

Shirley Tuckwell – Finances
Shirley has previously been the Church Administrator at All Saints. Wanting to spend more time with the family, Shirley now manages the accounts.  She is married to Bill and they have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Shirley has always worked in administrative and financial roles. She loves music and singing with the choir, spending time with her family and Miss Daisy her little dog. Together with Bill, they have built their own home and enjoy the semi-rural setting complete with a large family of kangaroos.
